I agree, it doesn't ... I agree, it doesn't look good right now, but we'll see what happens with the court case. Before the election, Ritz said he would support a vote, then after, he changed his? mind. And by saying he would ignore a court ruling, this makes me wonder what other court rulings he will ignore. This goes beyond the CWB & raises serious questions about what's happening to our democracy.

Im in an area where there still are smaller farmers/ranchers,more ranching, but not to far away(miles)there 's a guy with 100000 acers, & a couple more half that, and it's tough enough for established farme...For someone to start from scratch,,,(forget it) and the Gov't seems to want things that way...

Hi,where the food ... Hi,where the food chain starts,working all hours God sends,the modern day cowboy,rides his tractor instead of a horse ,more arable than cattle farming,the poor of this world can't afford meat only bread.
More cattle pigs and other food sources reared indoors,when I was a child we had rabbit stew organic wild rabbits,?

Sad part is that in ... Sad part is that in a matter of days, the family farm in Canada could be a thing of the past unless Canadians wake up NOW and realize what's happening. Farmers have the right to vote on the dismantling of the Canadian Wheat Board as laid out in the law, and they are being denied their right to that vote. Please contact the Canadian Senate & tell them? to stop the bill until farmers have had the vote they are guaranteed in law.

It's odd. I had a ... It's odd. I had a dream about this song that I woke? up to this morning. Couldn't get this song out of my head. I remember this song from back when I was a kid (LOOOONG ago). I easily have neither heard it nor thought about it in at least 30 years. Yet there it was today.

Moved to the ... Moved to the country last year and there's lots of old tractors still being used and even restored for show purposes. Fellow down the way has 2 of those huge steam tractors! He runs them too and you can hear the toot from the steam whistle every so often. My neighbour uses a tractor with no name plate on it to plow the snow from my driveway. It was made in 1945 and only replaced with a newer model 2 years ago. Thanks to all the farmers who are out there doing what they do? for all of us.
